Mending Social at Good Neighbour

Grab those slightly ripped or torn pieces of clothing that you have waiting to be mended and join us for a good old fashioned Mending Social! No experience required, all skill levels welcome. We will have one or two people available to provide some coaching, but otherwise, bring your own hand sewing materials to darn up those socks, mend the ripped seam in those pants, or re-attach that missing button. We want mending to be the norm, not the exception, and we will be tallying the number of items we avoid going to landfill. It’s also a great way to get to know those in your community better.

Free to everyone to attend, please bring your own supplies.
