On April 20th 2024 join us for the first global Mend I Public Day. The idea is simple: get out into your local community and stitch in protest against disposable fashion. We will repair our torn pockets and broken seams in public spaces and spark conversations on making Loved Clothes Last. Through our collective restorative actions on this day, we will demand that the fashion industry take action by refusing to partake in the capitalist system and instead mend our textiles to keep them in loop. All are welcome to come to mend with us! All skill levels are welcome! The more we are, the greater the impact we can make.
